Portmeirion Pottery

Portmeirion Potteries produce pottery that is sold around the world, but its spiritual home is Portmeirion Village in North Wales.

"A significant force in the homewares industry."

Portmeirion Pottery was founded in 1960 by Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Clough Williams-Ellis, to produce pottery souvenirs for the Portmeirion village shop.

One of Portmeirion Potteries' iconic ranges, 'Botanic Garden', was based on prints from Thomas Green’s nineteenth-century 'Universal Herbal' and is still available for purchase at Portmeirion Online.

Portmeirion pottery is produced by Portmeirion Group PLC, based in Stoke-on-Trent and listed on the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM") of the London Stock Exchange.

Portmeirion Group PLC is a significant force in the homewares industry, the Portmeirion Group, encompasses the Portmeirion, Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel, and Wax Lyrical brands. It is a market leader in high quality and innovatively designed tableware, cookware, giftware, tabletop accessories and home fragrance products.
