The Portmeirion Hotel Bar and Terrace
The hotel Portmeirion was originally the mansion of Aber Ia and the site of the present village, together with its dramatic wooded setting, formed the small estate around the house. It was built c1850 and was described in 1861 as:
Today the Hotel Portmeirion's Victorian Terrace is the perfect place for a coffee or to relax and enjoy a drink with friends and family while taking in the views of the village above and the Dwyryd Estuary below
Private functions are held in the Hotel Portmeirion, on the terrace of the Hotel Portmeirion and Castell Deudraeth, this may result in them being fully or partially closed to the public, Please contact us on 01766 772440 or 392, to check availability.

The Hotel Portmeirion serves drinks on the Terrace from 12:00 until 16:30pm Monday to Saturdays if the weather allows.
The Terrace does not open in wet or windy weather.
The Hotel Portmeirion operates it's popular lunch service between 12:00 and 14:00.
As Welsh weather is famously unpredictable, our Lunch service is currently served in the Hotel Restaurant. You are more than welcome to enjoy a pre-lunch beverage on the terrace before your reservation in fine weather.

The Hotel Portmeirion serves Afternoon Tea in the lounges and restaurant between 14:30pm - 15:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
Our Afternoon Tea menu changes regularly, allowing us to use the best of the seasons produce.
Included in your tea you will have a Selection of Finger Sandwiches and as a savoury treat we also serve our homemade artisan sausage rolls.
To Accompany your savoury items we have a selection of our Pastry Chef's desserts and brace of fruit and plain scone. Served with Jam and Clotted Cream.
Please note that all dietary requirements can be catered for when prior notice is given.
Afternoon Tea - £36 Per Person
Please note that from 27th November 2024 our Festive Afternoon tea will be served in the Hotel Restaurant until January 1st.
On Sundays, a traditional Sunday lunch is served between 12:30 and 14:30.
Traditional Sunday lunches are served with seasonal vegetables, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes. Enjoying the beautiful view of the Dwyryd Estuary framed through the Dining Room's windows is the perfect way to enjoy a fantastic Sunday Lunch.

Any Sunday lunches booked for December will be a Festive Offering.
