Gwyl Portmeirion Festival

Portmeirion is delighted to invite you to attend our centenary celebration festival to be held over four weekends over the summer.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT HOT WEATHER IS PREDICTED FOR SATURDAY 11th JULY WITH TEMPERATURE OF 26 - 28 DEGREES UP TO 19:00 HOURS. Bring a sunhat. Use suncream. Bring a water bottle (fresh tap water available on the field).

Chairs are provided for all VIP ticket holders on 11th July and 29th August. There will be some additional unallocated seating available. You are welcome to bring your own seating (folding chairs recommended).   Due to high demand a limited number of additional VIP tickets have been issued for 29th August. VIP tickets are still available also for 20th August.

We are delighted to announce an amazing line-up of musicians including Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Sir Bryn Terfel, the Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir, Pedair, 9Bach, Bwncath, Bob Delyn a’r Ebillion, Pys Melyn, Gareth Bonello, Rhys Mwyn and the Llareggub Brass Band.

A series of four one day festivals will take place at Castell Deudraeth Fields on Saturday 11th of July, Saturday 22nd August and Saturday 29th August. Doors open at 4.30m with a curfew at 11pm.

Set within the open landscape of Castell Deudraeth Fields, each concert offers a relaxed woodland setting to enjoy live performances in the long summer evenings. There will be a variety of local food and drink stalls including Anglesey hog roast, Welsh Luing Beef, local pizzas, Blas ar Fwyd and more.

A limited number of seats will be provided for the Bryn Terfel concert and the Jools Holland concert, with reserved seating for all VIP ticket holders. You are welcome to bring folding chairs to the event and picnics can be brought also. No glass or cans can be brought onto the fesitval site and no alcohol can be brought onto the site.

All tickets include entry to Portmeirion village from 09:30 until the concert starts. Please present your tickets at the entrance tollgate. If you arrive after 17:30 please present your tickets at the festival entry pavilion near Castell Deudraeth.

Access tickets are available. Blue Badge, PIP or Access Card required at point of entry. There is a wheelchair only area on the field with seating for carers.

Discounted local tickets are available to full time residents of Minffordd village as a gesture of goodwill given that some noise and traffic disruption is inevitable for a large event such as this. PLEASE NOTE LOCAL TICKETS ARE NOW SOLD OUT FOR REMAINING EVENTS.

We're delighted to announce that we have received funding from Cyngor Gwynedd through the Event Development Fund to support our programme of Centenary Celebrations. Thank you for your support!
