In a matte white, delicately embossed bottle, this is amarone cask finish single malt Welsh whisky is beautifully presented in an intricate decoupage box.

Penderyn Distillery is releasing "The Village," the 14th edition of its Icons of Wales series, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Portmeirion village (1926-2026). This limited-edition whisky honors the iconic, colorful, and creative North Wales village, with bottles available online from March 4th, 2026, followed by releases in distillery shops.

Celebration of Craft: The release highlights Portmeirion's unique architecture and, according to 88 Bamboo, aligns with the 2026 milestone year for Welsh whisky.
Availability: The release is part of the 2026 celebrations, which include events during Wales Week London.

Palate: The palate unfolds luxuriously — velvety and full-bodied — revealing red berries, ripe plums, soft spice, and a honeyed sweetness touched by floral undertones.
