Portmeirion Food & Craft Fair 

6th, 7th & 8th of December 2024.

 

Our Portmeirion Christmas event is a showcase of the best local food, drinks, gifts and entertainment.

The event features artisan stalls exhibiting the best Welsh produce. In addition to local produce and crafts, we have a full programme of entertainment to suit everybody's taste.

Our annual Food & Craft fair will be held throughout the village on

Friday the 6th, Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of December 2024.

**Please note that some village views will be affected from the 18th of November until approximately the 15th Dec 2024 with set up and clear up**

Our gates open for the event at 9.30am and will close at 5.30pm.

Entrance Tickets to the Food & Craft fair and village are not available in advance; they will be available on the day only at one of our 3 tollbooths.

We accept cash or card.

Adults | Concessions £10.00 pp

Children (5-15 years) £5.00 pp

Under 5's free.

If you have a valid membership with us, you may use this to enter the event.

Please have your valid card with you, to present at the tollbooth. (if you wish to check your expiry date prior to the event please call 01766 772 409 or email [email protected] - we will require the 6-digit number from the reverse of the membership card)

We will not be able to assist with membership renewals during the Food & Craft fair weekend.

If you do not have your valid card with you, entry will be charged and is non-refundable.

Getting there.

 

Parking on site.

Parking on site is available, however please note that it is at a minimum. We highly recommend using our shuttle bus service from Porthmadog if possible.

Blue badge parking is available onsite and will be available on a first serve basis. If our Blue badge parking area is full and parking is not available onsite, you are welcome to drop off guests, before relocating to the park and ride carpark.

 

Our complimentary Shuttle Bus

Free parking and a shuttle bus is available from Porthmadog to Portmeirion.

Free Parking is located at Llyn Bach Car Park (next to the B&M carpark) and the shuttle bus operates from outside The Australia Inn on the High Street.

The shuttle bus operates regularly from 9:00 to 18:00.

 

By Train.

A full timetable is available online on the Tfw website please note that there is a mile and a half walk to Portmeirion entrance. Please use the provided path not road, due to the volume of traffic.

 

By Bus.

 A full timetable is available online on the Traveline Cymru website, please note that there is a mile and a half walk to Portmeirion entrance. Please use the provided path not road, due to the volume of traffic.

 

By Bicycle.

Please follow the main driveway to the entrance, a bike stand is available near the entrance, please bring your own lock to secure your bike.

Please note no bikes are permitted in the village.

 

By Taxi or drop off.

We are happy to share the following local taxi company numbers with you.

If you are being dropped off, we kindly ask that you follow the shuttle bus route and pull into the dedicated area, to avoid causing obstruction.

Please do allow additional time to arrive for your reservation as queues are highly likely. Parking will  also be at a minimum on site and you may be redirected to the Park and Ride in Porthmadog.

The dates for your diary for our 2025 Gwyl Fwyd a chrefft are Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th of December 2025.

 

To apply for a stand with us, for 2025 please return to this page on the 1st of April 2025 and complete and submit the application form.

Please do not submit applications prior to the 1st of April 2025, as they will be automatically deleted, on reset of the page.
