Castell Deudraeth

Castell Deudraeth

Brasserie Restaurant, Lounge and Bar

Castell Deudraeth is a 19th Century Castle house built by Dafydd Williams, the first Liberal MP for Meirionnydd. It was restored and opened as a hotel and restaurant in 2001, retaining all period features and furnished with local materials including Welsh oak and slate.  Castell Deudraeth serves a brasserie style menu using the best local ingredients.

The Brasserie overlooks the mountains of Meirionnydd to the south and the formal Victorian gardens to the west.

Castell Deudraeth gardens are open for outside dining where lunch and drinks are served from 12.30 . Last orders for lunch are taken at 14:30.

With a pre-booked 2 course lunch at Castell Deudraeth a free entry voucher is offered for admission to Portmeirion village after lunch. This voucher is not valid for entry to Portmeirion village before 12:30.

Please enquire via email on castell@portmeirion.cymru

or call 01766 772400 to reserve a table

*If you have booked a table for lunch at Castell Deudraeth you do not need to buy online admission tickets to Portmeirion unless you wish to visit the village in the morning before lunch.  Free entry vouchers are available after a pre-booked two or three course lunch at Castell Deudraeth.
