Castell Deudraeth

Castell Deudraeth

Brasserie Restaurant, Lounge and Bar

Castell Deudraeth is a 19th Century folly Castle built by Dafydd Williams, the first liberal MP for Meirionnydd. It was restored and opened as a hotel and restaurant in 2001, retaining all period features and furnished with local materials including Welsh oak and slate.  Castell Deudraeth offers a brasserie style menu using the best local ingredients.

The Brasserie overlooks the mountains of Meirionnydd to the south and the formal Victorian gardens to the west. At present the the Lounge bar is reserved for the use of resident guests due to social distancing restrictions.

The Castell Deudraeth garden terrace is open for outside dining and will serve between 12.00pm and 2.15pm.

The outdoor terrace tables will be weather dependent and advanced booking is not available.

We do have a limited covered area, which you may make a reservation for.
