We now require Restaurant and Bar Assistants to join the team, who will offer our guests and customers a friendly and professional food and beverage service. Full time, part time, casual and seasonal roles available. Full training and uniform provided. Hourly rate - up to £13.21 per hour + tips.

Applications are invited for the position of Restaurant Manager at Castell Deudraeth, Portmeirion. The Castell is a 4 star hotel with a modern, brasserie style restaurant. Previous experience of a similar role is required as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service through the medium of both English and Welsh. This is a full-time 42 hours per week position, year-round, any five days out of seven. Competitive terms are offered commensurate with the skills you will be bring to the position and the responsibilities the position entails.
Duties to include:
Overseeing the hotel's restaurant.
Being a "hands on position" the Restaurant Manager will be expected to participate during service on the restaurant floor or on the bar.
Excellent working knowledge of all food & beverage products and services.
Monitor the staff dress code.
To be someone who is the "face" of the restaurant.
Must be a "people person" who is able to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers and guests and have the ability to develop long term relationships with guests.
Must have the ability to manage and motivate the team effectively resulting in an enhanced customer/guest experience.
Cooperate with the Castell Deudraeth Manager to review and implement any restaurant training requirements.
Handle and resolve any guest concerns or complaints.
In collaboration with the Head Chef, educate staff about menu content so they can provide information to customers about ingredients, allergies, locally sourced produce, etc.
To be aware of any problems arising with reference to queries about restaurant bills. To be familiar with how to rectify and explain fully, adjusting if necessary.
Work to improve front of house working practices so as to continually improve efficiency and customer service. Promote a "can do" culture and foster a spirit of teamwork to create a motivated and positive team.
Must have a positive attitude with bilingual Welsh - English skills.
