We now require Restaurant and Bar Assistants to join the current team, who will offer our guests and customers a friendly and professional food and beverage service. These are initially seasonal roles; however, consideration will be given towards the end of the season to extend to a more permanent contract, subject to the needs of the business. Full training and uniform provided. Hourly rate - up to £12.02 per hour (to be reviewed by 1st April 2025)
Cafe Assistants required to assist in any of the Portmeirion Village cafes, to include the Town Hall Restaurant, Caffi Glas, Angel Ices, Caffi No 6 and Caffi Sgwâr. Cafe opening hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. Part-time positions also available. These are seasonal roles initially. Hourly rate - up to £11.44 ( to be reviewed by 1st April 2025)
We now require a Reservations Assistant to join the team taking bookings for the Hotel Portmeirion, Castell Deudraeth and village accommodation. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, any 5 days out of 7.Hours of work: 9:00am - 17:00pm during winter and either 8:00am -16:00pm or 12:00pm - 20:00pm during the summer season, which will be allocated on a rota basis.
Hourly rate: £11.78 per hour (to be reviewed by 1st April 2025)
Applicants must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing in both English and Welsh.
We require a Tollgate Attendant to work at the entrance to Portmeirion Village. The main duties are to provide a courteous and friendly service to all day visitors, hotel guests, village guests and staff as “first point of contact” and ensure the effective day to day operation of the Toll.
This is a seasonal position, 35 hours a week, working any 5 days out of 7. Salary : £11.44 per hour (to be reviewed by 1st April) Hours will be between 8:00am and 9:00pm, which will also include weekends.
The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh and English is essential for this position.
We now require a Kitchen Assistant to assist our kitchen team at the Town Hall.
Duties include: assist chefs in food prep work, loading / unloading dishwasher and washing saucepans, cleaning of work areas, stoves, walls, floors, equipment as and when required, ensure that all crockery and cutlery are spotlessly cleaned, and any breakages are discarded in a safe manner
This is a seasonal contract until the end of September 2025.
