Portmeirion Ltd is looking for an ESTATE WORKER (seasonal to start) to work in the maintenance department, including gardens, waste management, and the depot. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a range of skills and is also hardworking and punctual.
This role offers a variety of duties within the maintenance department, assisting other members of staff in carrying out general maintenance tasks, as well as working with other departments within the company.
The successful applicant will be required to work independently at times, as well as some weekends, and work flexible hours.
Assisting the maintenance department with daily tasks related to hospitality and a tourist attraction
Collecting waste around the site
Receiving and delivering goods around the village
Assisting the gardens department with various duties
Helping with stewarding duties in the Portmeirion day visitor car park
Some experience in general maintenance work is essential, along with a full driving licence. Training will be provided as needed. Hourly rate: up to £12.71 per hour.
Portmeirion Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team, and helping to deliver an excellent guest experience in an unique hospitality setting.
Duties include:
Supervise and co-ordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met
Lead, motivate, and organise the housekeeping team to deliver efficient service
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain quality standards
Train new staff members on cleaning protocols, health and safety procedures, and customer service expectations
Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
Address guest or staff concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues as they arise
Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management is essential.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, any 5 days out of 7
Pay: Up to £13.53 per hour + additional tips
