WELCOME BACK TO PORTMEIRION

WELCOME TO PORTMEIRION VILLAGE

STATEMENT 03.08.2020

Portmeirion is open again for day visits and hotel guests. We look forward to welcoming you.

The main shops and cafes are open. Caffi’r Sgwâr and the Town Hall Café have take-away service. Castell Deudraeth brasserie (booking advised) and the Hotel Terrace (no bookings, subject to weather) both offer table service.

We do not sell day tickets online however tickets are always available on the day of your visit at the entrance Tollgate. If you are planning to visit Portmeirion during August, it is worth arriving early to avoid delay at the tollgate. If you wish to book a table for lunch at Castell Deudraeth call 01766 772400 in advance or book online (free entry to Portmeirion after a two-course lunch).

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 31st August both Castell Deudraeth and the Hotel Terrace offer an Eat Out to Help Out menu (50% off per person up to a maximum of £10).

The Hotel Portmeirion and Castell Deudraeth re-opened on 3rd of August. Self-catering cottages re-opened on 11th of July. Please note that due to deep cleaning, anti-bacterial surface cleaning and fogging sanitisation on top of standard housekeeping proceedures check-in time is delayed from 3pm to 5pm. All prices are inclusive of 5% VAT (except alcohol at 20%).

Gift Vouchers. If you have gift vouchers expiring before 31 October 2020, we will gladly update these for 12 months from 1st August 2020 if you return the vouchers. The Mermaid Spa will not reopen until 1st March 2021 and we would be happy to update Spa Gift Vouchers for 12 months from the 1st of March 2021. Please return gift vouchers to: Portmeirion Gift Vouchers, Accounts Office, Portmeirion, Minffordd, Penrhyndeudraeth, Gwynedd LL48 6ER.

From 3rd July to 3rd August we initiated a scheme to give all NHS workers free entry to Portmeirion for one month. We are delighted to announce that we welcomed 1141 NHS staff free of charge during this period and we hope this gesture was of benefit. As the scheme now comes to an end we would like to say thank you to all NHS staff for all their hard work during the current crisis. We hope you enjoyed your visit.

Thank you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
