On 19th October Welsh First Minister, Mark Drakeford, announced a time limited firebreak lockdown throughout Wales from 6pm on Friday 23rd October to the morning of Monday 9th November.
All non-essential retail and all hospitality businesses have to close during this period and no indoor or outdoor gatherings of people who do not live in the same household will be allowed.
The Hotel Portmeirion and Castell Deudraeth will close on Friday 23rd October and reopen on Monday 9th November. If you have a booking during this period we will be in touch to arrange an alternative date or to cancel and refund any prepayments made.
