Portmeirion Village is home to two hotels, a cluster of historic cottages, iconic architecture, a spa, stylish shops, award-winning restaurants, casual cafes, an Italian ice cream parlour, exotic gardens and sandy beaches.
The Grade II listed Hotel Portmeirion is an early Victorian villa converted to a hotel by Clough Williams-Ellis in 1925 and restored in 1988. Castell Deudraeth is a Victorian castellated folly converted into a contemporary hotel in 2001. There are 32 individually designed rooms and suites in the surrounding Portmeirion village, all with great views and charming settings. For longer stays suitable for large or small families or groups, Portmeirion also has 13 stylish self-catering cottages.
Enjoy a fine dining experience at the award-winning Art Deco restaurant in the Hotel Portmeirion with its focus on modern classics based on local produce. The Brasserie at Castell Deudraeth is a more informal dining experience in a contemporary setting with the cooking again based on local produce. For an al fresco lunch or a light snack, Portmeirion has six coffee shops and cafes on site with options from freshly made pizzas to home-made Italian style gelato.
