Portmeirion Food Festival Returns

2018-11-26

Over 120 Local Businesses to showcase their products

Heavenly foods, flavoursome drinks and exquisite gifts all in the magical location of Portmeirion – what could be better? Our annual Food & Craft Fair will take place from the 30 November - 2 December 2018.

Here at Portmeirion, we are proud to say that we support local businesses, so every Christmas, as our gift to you, we allow for a collection of the best locally produced food, drinks and gifts to be showcased at our fairy-tale village.

The hugely popular and successful Portmeirion Food and Craft Festival is set to return to Portmeirion on the 30th of November and the 1st and 2nd of December for the 7th successive year, and organisers promise it will be bigger and better this year!

Jana Jones the festival organiser and Marketing Manager for Portmeirion said “This year we have over 120 exhibitors and we are expecting a large attendance. This will be an excellent opportunity for businesses from all over Wales to showcase the best of Welsh Produce and for the public to support small businesses and taste unique Welsh produce. Established businesses such as Oinc Oinc will be here throughout the weekend, selling and showcasing their prize-winning Sausages along with renowned artisans such as Ann Catrin Evans from Caernarfon. There is something for everybody at this year’s festival.”

If wandering around our Italianate Village in all its wintery beauty and treating yourself to your favourite delicacies wasn’t enough, we offer a full programme of entertainment from local artists including Cor Eifionydd, Meinir Gwilym, Phil Gas a’r Band and much more.

Santa will also be back in his grotto this year, with his little elves on hand to help make the Christmassy experience even more magical for our little visitors. Just ho-ho-hop on our train and get ready for an enchanting trip to see the man himself!

Entry tickets to the Food & Craft Festival are £7.00 per person. Children aged 12 and under are free. There is an additional cost of £3.00 for Santa's Grotto.

We truly do cater for everyone, especially those who are looking for that perfect gift for that perfect someone! For more information or to arrange press visits please contact our Press Office on 01766 772409
